General Information

Brazil is located in the central-east of South America, being the largest and most populous country on the continent. It is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and shares borders with all countries in South America, except Chile and Ecuador. Its geographical position is unique, as it covers a large part of the South American territory, from the Amazon rainforest in the north to the pampas in the south.
