Community Ecological Records
A database of living organisms launched in 2011, which to date gathers more than 2.295.060 records...In this video, we show some of the birds that can be observed at the mouth of the Manzores Stream, along the Concordia waterfront. This area is characterized by floodable grasslands, floating vegetation mats, and a reservoir that forms and varies according to the water level of the Uruguay River. Bird species commonly found here include whistling ducks, cormorants, speckled teal and Brazilian teal, great blue herons, cattle egrets, great egrets, snowy egrets, roseate spoonbills, southern lapwings, pied lapwings, bare-faced ibises, among other birds that make use of this habitat.
