General Information

Costa Rica is located in the Central American region, bordering Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the southeast, while the Pacific Ocean lies to the west and the Caribbean Sea to the east. The vegetation is lush in many areas, especially in the tropical forests and savanna zones, where biodiversity is particularly high.
