Familia completa.
En la presente fotografía se puede visualizar en primer lugar a la pareja formada por un ostrero pardo (Haematopus palliatus) hembra y a un ejemplar macho del ostrero negro (Haematopus ater).
En el extremo derecho se puede apreciar al ejemplar híbrido resultante de la cruza de ambas especies para comparar sus características generales.
Pareja observada por primera vez a partir del 08-12-2015 y con cría confirmada por primera vez en este verano.
