Description: Cinnamon nape, head and ventral blackish, barred with white and black on flanks and subcaudal, coverts dotted with white and intense red iris.
Geographical Distribution: In Argentina, it is found in the provinces of San Juan, Mendoza, Catamarca, San Luis, and Río Negro.
Habitat: Reeds, saline grasslands, and floodable grasslands.
Behavior: Very little known, hidden.
