Situation of Wildization in Argentina

Chatellenaz et al. (2022) report details of a small, feral breeding population in the city of Corrientes. The focus of their reproduction has been detected in Plaza de La Cruz, although individuals have been recorded in various parts of the city, including the waterfront. Successful breeding was reported for 2020. According to city residents, they are seen in increasing numbers each year, and many plaza neighbors are aware of their existence (La Grotteria and Sosa, pers. comm. 2022).

Comment by: Jorge La Grotteria - 13/12/2022.
