Description: Dark-colored, with a short tail, central band, and white tip; slight nuchal crest; huge wings. The female is more brownish.Geographic Distribution within Argentina: Salta, Jujuy, Chaco, Formosa, Catamarca, Corrientes, and Tucumán.Habitat: Yungas and forests.Diet: Snakes, birds, and small mammals.Breeding: Enormous nest about 1 meter in diameter made of intertwined branches.
