Especie sumamente difícil de observar por su apariencia críptica y sus costumbres. Siempre en matorral muy denso y bajo, sus reclamos hay que estar muy atento para percibirlos. Acude al reclamo grabado, en breves incursiones a prudente distancia del borde de la maleza, para volver a lo más denso a los pocos segundos.
