Excelente observación de un ejemplar adulto sobre el Canal Viamonte alimentandose de un Culebra de los Esteros (Helicops infrataeniatus) cuando llegamos al sitio la culebra ya estaba muerta pero el Hoco siguio azotandola durante unos 10 minutos para luego ubicarla correctamente con la cabeza hacia adelante para poder comerla.
