Si bien es una especie escasa en Uruguay. es en Otoño e Invierno cuando se lo puede observar.- Generalmente no vocaliza en esta época.- Como hipótesis, y teniendo en cuenta los registros reportados hasta ahora en lo que va del Otoño, podría darse una oleada de esta especie en Uruguay, como sucedió con la Monterita Canela en el año 2013.
