Cuba´s coastline is extensive, with over 5,700 kilometers of length, and features numerous bays, gulfs, and cays. The climate in Cuba is tropical, with warm and humid temperatures throughout the year, although the hurricane season, which runs from June to November, can be hazardous.

Cuba´s geographical location makes it an ideal place for nature observations, as it boasts a wide range of ecosystems, including tropical forests, mangroves, wetlands, and marine ecosystems. The island is accessible by air, with several international airports, including José Martí International Airport in Havana, which is the largest in the country.
