Estuvo un rato en el patio mi de casa libando continuamente las flores de un Falso Ibiscus mientras vocalizaba, volviendo a posarse a la sombra sobre un Guayabo ubicado a unos 5 metros. Iba y venía entre esas dos plantas. Cuando aparecían los picaflores bronceados y comunes a libar a esa planta, los corría. Cuando le dio el sol al Guayabo donde descansaba, no volvió más.
