Hace +150 años el Conejo Europeo fue introducido en Chile, desde España, y para 1945/1950 se lo reportó en el área de Andacollo (Misma zona que la Tenca y el Huet Huet Castaño, es un paso natural). Para los 90 había llegado a la costa neuquina del Nahuel Huapi y desde 2025 ya hay reportes para la zona Bariloche y Dina Huapi en Río Negro.
