Puede reproducir (hospedarse) en una gran cantidad de Especies de fanerógamas de diversas Familias según lo mencionado en Di Iorio y Farina (2009). En este caso está sobre un fresno cultivado, probablemente Fraxinus pennsylvanica o un híbrido de esa Especie.
