La pareja se alternaba entrando y saliendo del gran nido que reutilizaron de otro año. La entrada del nido era por la parte inferior. LLevaban ramitas y plumas. Eran muy silenciosos y si uno se acercaba demasiado al nido, no entraban y se quedaban esperando ocultos en algún árbol cercano.
