Registré esta catita en la Reserva de Villa Gobernador Galvez, Gran Rosario, Santa Fe, aunque su distribución en nuestro país es el este de Formosa y Chaco y una pequeña porción de Misiones, Corrientes y Buenos Aires. Hay un par de casales que se encuentran hace unos años según me informaron. Seguramente provienen del mascotismo, pero ya son una población permanente.
