Es publicado en principio en la plataforma Naturalist como Género Anthaxia y fué reconocido como Anthaxia millefolii por dos usuarios, uno de ellos Nikola Rahmé de Hungría experto en Buprestydae, de hecho el único nombre aparte del cientifico que encuentro es húngaro. Debo destacar que se encuentra en toda Europa
