La hembra adulta,es la de la izquierda,y el juvenil,sexo indistinguible,es el de la derecha.
Nótese la diferencia del desgaste de las plumas;el juvenil presenta restos de su apariencia escamada en el dorso,plumas con bordes blancos,sin desgaste.-
En tanto la hembra adulta,con color más pardo uniforme.-
