La foto no es de gran calidad pero observé un grupo de tres individuos en un cerrito con pastizal natural de Paja Colorada (Paspalum quadrifarium) y Paja vizcachera (Stypa brachichaeta) con muy poca carga ganadera. En verano también fueron observados ahí y probablemente nidifiquen en el lugar.
