Nunca había visto picaflores bronceados en Maipú, pero ayer y vi muchos. Se veían frecuentemente de a dos, pero también individuos solos. Libaban de Salvia guaranítica y de una exótica de un color parecido, se posaban en la última y también en un cañaveral muy cercano. Se escuchaban vocalizar mucho.
