Nunca lo había visto en la zona aunque otros colegas se han encontrado con esta ave unas pocas veces, me llamó la atención que dos días seguido los encontré en la misma zona comiendo lo que parecían unos brotes. estaban el macho y la hembra juntos la hembra tenía un plumaje rayado blanco y gris oscuro, solo se parecían por el color de ojos.
