Rufous-rumped Seedeater (Sporophila hypochroma)

Observé la especie por primera vez en Saladillo el 19/12/1990, una pareja con una cría (volantón). Posteriormente, el 04/01/1991 se halló un nido con una cría grande. Finalmente, el 27/12/1992 se halló un nido con 2 huevos y ese día fotografié, desde muy lejos, el macho. Los nidos estaban emplazados en cardos (Cirsium vulgare).
