Nido construido con una hembra incubando dentro, el macho permaneció a pocos metros emitiendo sonidos distractorios... dentro del nido se visualizaban plumas blancas como recubierto... estaba anclado en pequeño arbusto sin hojas y expuesto, rodeado del agua. A escasos centímetros tenían su nido unos Piojito Gris.
