En la fotografía el ave se indica con una flecha negra. Fue observada con un binocular Brunton Eterna 11x45 e identificada consultando Peterson, R.T. y Chalif, E.L. 1989. Aves de México. Guía de campo. Ed. Diana. México, D.F. 473 p. La observación se realizó poco antes del anochecer y de la salida de los murciélagos que habitan en este sitio.
