También habitan la zona central de la República Argentina, de hecho, he registrado mínimo 5 ejemplares adultos en un árbol caído ubicado en mi patio, tengo registrada a una hembra del grupo poniendo huevos en videos y en fotografías, la última vez que los observé fue hace aproximadamente una semana, francamente son ejemplares magníficos, crean túneles bastante amplios y complejos en donde los he visto asomar sus tenazas por ellos cuando cae la noche, sin duda alguna, magníficos.
