La foto no es muy buena pero se observa la característica barbilla gruesa en el mentón (por eso también se la llama "perita" en la Costa Atlántica Arg.) y el borde en forma de "S" de la aleta caudal. Tamaño aprox. de este ejemplar: 23 cm.
