Esta especie la he identificado en investigación por búsqueda en la web, específicamente en el articulo correspondiente a esta especie en la pagina de WIKIPEDIA (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papilio_cresphontes) y confirmada tambien en registro que aparece en la pagina de Naturalista (https://www.naturalista.mx/taxa/50072-Papilio-cresphontes).
en otras búsquedas he encontrado el nombre común en Español como Mariposa cometa gigante.
