Lo vi por primera vez, aunque sabía de su presencia en otras lagunas, en este lugar de la laguna del Monte, hay mucho pastizal natural y hablando con el cuidador del mismo me dijo, que el hurón apareció hace poco y que es usual verlo persiguiendo y cazando cuises.
