Identificada por el especialista Phillip Watzke Engelking en The Orthopterists´ Society. Es una especie que tiene tres patrones de coloración, cada uno especializado en imitar a un género distinto de avispas en la adultes.

Como dato interesante, Phillip me dijo una forma simple de diferenciar este género de Aganacris, otro muy similar: "look at the antenna. half is thick, and half thin. In aganacris, the whole antenna has the same thickness".
