Sporophila que andaba en el mismo lugar que los Tiaris obscurus, lo subo a modo de comparación, ya que ambas especies suelen ser confundidas. En un momento posaron uno muy cerca del otro, había 2 Tiaris y esta Sporophila, confirmado por vocalización y notables diferencias.
