Uno de los pichones permaneció expuesto durante toda una noche de tormenta, ya que la madre se asustó y abandonó el nido, aún así sobrevivió. El otro huevo eclosionó al día siguiente. Es la segunda puesta en el año, en la primera un huevo no eclosionó.
