Este pájaro es el constructor de una gran y perfecta cabaña de cortejo, ornamentada con los más variopintos y coloridos objetos que se afana en reunir, frutillos, élitros de escarabajos, flores, y demás, que dispone por grupos de colores de manera casi artística, para ganarse a las hembras.
