Lo interesante de este ejemplar es que era parte de una bandada de miles y miles de Chingolos que vimos durante varios kilómetros en cercanías de Cholila, Chubut. Las fotografías sirvieron para confirmar que la subespecie era Z. c. australis, lo que ¿indicaría? que el fenómeno se trataba de la migración previa al invierno que venía "subiendo" de sur a norte.
