In this video we will talk about the cauquenes (genus Chloephaga) that live in Patagonia and migrate to their wintering area in the south of the province of Buenos Aires, their range of distribution and their conservation problems, the creation of the Natural Sanctuary of Cauquén Colorado. The species are: common seabream, red seabream and royal seabream. Most of the filming and photos were taken in the southern rural area of the San Cayetano and Tres Arroyos districts on July 3, 2021, complemented by some photos and videos taken in Andean Patagonia at the end of 2020.
