Special edition of the Birding Challenge, a birdwatching and bird-recording competition in which participants can compete individually.
Categories
The competition includes four categories:
- Highest number of species observed
- Highest number of species documented
- Best records
- Best photographs
The highest quantity categories can be followed day by day through the EcoRegistros reports and rankings. The results for the best records and best photographs categories will be evaluated and published in the days following the end of the competition.
How does it work?
EcoRegistros will serve as the recording platform for this special edition. Based on the observations published by each participant, the platform will automatically generate the rankings for each region in the Observed and Documented categories.
EcoRegistros will also automatically compile a list of the species recorded by each participant in each region, allowing the development of the competition to be followed throughout the established competition period.
The process is very simple: participants only need to publish on EcoRegistros the records of the bird species observed during the competition period and within the corresponding region. All other information and rankings are generated automatically from those records.
Participation requirements:
Participation is free of charge.
All you need to do is enjoy birdwatching, record your observations, and publish your records on EcoRegistros!
