Description: Black crown, white ventral side, olive-brownish back, black wings with a white band, and black tail. The female is olive green dorsally, contrasted with a lighter ventral side, indistinguishable from most females of other Sporophila species.Geographic Distribution within Argentina: South of Misiones and northeast of Corrientes.Habitat: Grasslands.Feeding: Seeds.Behavior: Territorial.
