Prunus brasiliensis is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. It is native to Brazil and north-eastern Argentina.

 Prunus brasiliensis is a tree up to 20 m tall and 50 cm dbh, with a straight or slightly irregular trunk. The small white flowers are arranged in axillary racemes long; petals up to 15 mm long.

Distribution and habitat: The species occurs in Brazil and northwestern Argentina, in forests up to 500 m in elevation.
