Conservation Status according to BirdLife International: Least Concern

Description: Yellow underparts; gray head with an ocular patch and black cheeks; olive-brown back, wings, and tail; slight streaks in the coverts; blackish crown in the male and reddish in the female.

Geographic Distribution: Misiones and northeast of Corrientes.

Habitat: Forests.

Behavior: Reminiscent of warblers, small and very trusting.
