Records from Reserva Natural Punta Lara

Coptopteryx gayi has 7–8 pairs of elongated white markings on the dorsal part of the abdomen, which easily distinguish it from Coptopteryx argentina, which has two clear lines along the entire dorsal part of the abdomen. This characteristic is visible in females and nymphs.
