Trip to Parque Nacional Ciervo de los Pantanos: Camino al INTA
In this tour, we visited the Parque Nacional Ciervo de los Pantanos, located in the northeast of Buenos Aires, Argentina, one of the most representative protected areas of the delta wetlands and inland areas of the Paraná River.
It is an environment dominated by tall grasses, lagoons, marshes, and riparian forests, home to a great diversity of birds, mammals, and amphibians, including the iconic marsh deer, the largest deer in South America.
During this field trip we showcased:
• Park access and road conditions
• Visit to Camino al INTA
• Dynamics of the tour
• Habitats crossed: tall grasses and riparian forests
• Visit to the Paraná River and its floodable banks
A video designed for birdwatchers and naturalists looking to understand how the Buenos Aires wetlands function and which species can be found depending on the season.
Ideal for those planning observation trips in the northeast of Buenos Aires province and along the lower Paraná corridor.
