Son los padres de dos pichones.y se muestran muy alterados por mi presencia cerca del nido. Como nombre científico también recibe el de Griseotyrannus aurantioatrocristatus (ya ni sabemos cual es más difícil de pronunciar...). El nido está a 1,7 m en un espinillo negro (Vachellia astringens).
