En bandada mixta junto a Chingolos, Monterita Cabeza Negra, Jilguero Dorado y Brasita de Fuego.
Corona amarilla. Exhibe línea blanca en alas cuando vuela. Dorso olivaceo, frente amarillezco. Alas y timoneras oscuras.
