Eran 3 parejas, una estaba sobre un gran nido de ramitas (que podría ser de Garza blanca reutilizado). Ambos miembros de una de las parejas sacudían la cabeza lateralmente y apoyaban el cuello sobre el cuello del otro muy suavemente. El macho abría las alas mostrando la parte blanca del dorso de las alas a la hembra, mirándola y esta miraba atentamente.
