Espécimen perteneciente a la familia Elachistidae.
Elachistidae es una familia de polillas pequeñas de la superfamilia Gelechioidea. Según algunos autores contiene 3.300 especies en ocho subfamilias, pero esta agrupación es posiblemente parafilética y no natural, basada en semejanzas aparentes.
