El ejemplar fue encontrado en la Ciudad de Puerto Iguazú tras un llamado al Centro de Rescate Guira ogá por un ave que impacto contra la ventana de un Colegio ubicado en la Calle Guaraní esquina Fray Luis Beltran. Después de haber sido examinado y comprobado que no tenia lesiones, se libero a orillas del Río Iguazú.
