Alas cerradas: destaca el llamativo diseño de bandas rojas, marrones y blancas, una ancha blanca cruzándole ambas alas y los bordes posteriores anaranjados o amarillendos, con dos apéndices en cada ala trasera y manchas azules en esta misma ala.
