Identificada con la clave que hay en "O gênero Chinavia Orian (Hemiptera, Pentatomidae, Pentatominae) no Brasil, com chave pictórica para os adultos". Y en cuanto a la distribución se confirma también en "Notes on distributions for Argentinean Pentatomidae (Heteroptera: Pentatomoidea), with new records in the country".
La extraña malformación que tiene en el ala puede deberse a varias cosas. Que no pudo terminarla al alas al mudar, a una lesión cuando eran ninfa, a un patógeno, etc.
