Los dos pichones quedan solos un par de horas, por la tarde, ya que el macho se va del nido antes que regrese la hembra.
La hembra espera rigurosamente que llegue el macho, para después irse.
En general la hembra está de 16/17 hs. a 8/9 hs. de la mañana siguiente y el macho de 8/9 hs. a 14/15 hs.
