Corresponde a la subespecie "piojito vientre blanco" (serpophaga subcristata munda)
Adulto incubando. El nido se encontraba en un chanar pequeño solitario, a 1,5m del suelo, en un bajo. este estaba muy bien camuflado con su entorno. contenia dos huevos crema.
