La venas M y CuA surgen juntas, y tiene dos tarsómeros.
Esto último, la cantidad de tarsómeros, separa las dos especies similares de Zammarini que hay en Sao Paulo: Zammara tympanum y Orellana strepens (antes llamada Zammara strepens).
